Privacy notice
Last updated 25 October 2026
SUURA LTD (“SUURA”, “we”) is a UK company developing a way to help people find and retrieve their own historical insurance records. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website and our concept demo, why, and what your rights are. We are the “controller” of this information under UK data protection law.

What we collect, why, and our legal basis
| What | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address, the time you signed up, an optional referral code, and a short label for where you signed up | To keep you on the early access list, contact you about SUURA™, and place you in line and credit referrals | Your consent |
| Answers you choose to give in the short demo survey | To learn what people want from SUURA™ and improve it | Your consent |
| A one-way scrambled form of your IP address, kept for about 15 minutes | To stop spam and abuse of the sign-up form, survey and assistant | Our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure |
| Questions you type into the “Ask SUURA” assistant in the demo | To produce an answer. We do not store your questions or the answers | Your consent, by choosing to use the assistant |
The demo is a concept preview. Please do not enter real policy numbers, ID numbers or other sensitive details into it or into the assistant.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information and we do not use it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers (“processors”) who handle information only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare: hosts this website and stores sign-ups and survey answers.
- Anthropic: provides the AI model behind the assistant, only when you use it. Your question is sent to Anthropic to generate the answer.
- Resend: delivers an internal notification email to us when someone signs up. It contains the email address that signed up.
- Zoho: runs our email (for example hello@ and privacy@), so messages you send us pass through it.
- Google Fonts: loads the typeface on this site, which means your browser contacts Google when a page loads.
Some of these providers process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards that UK law allows, such as the UK’s approved transfer mechanisms.
Cookies and your device
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. After you sign up, the site may save your email address in your own browser’s local storage so the demo can use it. It stays on your device and you can clear it in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep your sign-up details until you ask us to delete them, or for up to 24 months if you do not respond to our early access emails, whichever comes first. Survey answers are kept for up to 24 months. The scrambled IP information lasts about 15 minutes.
Your rights
You can ask us to: see the information we hold about you; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; or withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before. To use any of these, email [email protected]. We will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Changes
If we change this notice in a way that matters to you, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you by email.
